MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS

Dtowers provides tower inspections by qualified engineering personnel to assess structural condition and ensure its compliance with the governing CSA-S37-18 standard for antennas, towers, and antenna supporting structures. Identified deficiencies can be corrected on-site including but no limited to:

• Corrosion remediation

• Bolt tightening

• Lock installation

• Securing and waterproofing transmission lines

• Tower/Appurtenance grounding repair

• Relamping obstruction lighting systems

• Safety climb maintenance, installation, or removal

• Guyed tower retensioning

Every completed inspection returns a final report summarizing our findings, maintenance and recommendations for correcting any areas of non-compliance outside of the project scope. All reports provide high quality reference photos taken during the inspection and are verified by professional engineers before submission.

TOWER AUDITS

Dtowers conducts audits of steel structures to facilitate the design of new appurtenance installations. Audits verify all existing equipment locations,/specifications on a tower and their accompanying transmission line distribution. This information is required for structural analysis to assess a towers capacity for new structural loads. Audits also review the layout of site compounds to ensure the necessary space is available for ground level shelters and equipment.

Every completed audit returns a final report containing a full tower loading and dimensioned AutoCAD drawings of the site compound and tower base line . All reports provide high quality reference photos taken during the audit and are verified by professional engineers before submission.

POST INSTALLATION INSPECTIONS

Dtowers assess for new structures and facilities as well as first or third party installations to existing towers.
